Why can't I upload my music?

There are multiple reasons why you may be having issues uploading your music. We encourage all artists to upload their releases through a computer, not on mobile phone/tablet/iPad as these devices may have limited capabilities. When having issues uploading your release, please have the troubleshooting steps below done.


  1. Log out of your trac account.
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  3. Log back in to your account then upload your release.

Additionally, make sure your music format is one of the accepted file types. We currently accept the file types: M4A, FLAC, MP3, MP4, WAV, WMA, AAC.


If the same issue persists, we recommend that you try it in incognito mode, or use a different browser or computer. Hopefully, one of these will resolve the issue.


However, if you have done all the troubleshooting steps above and still have difficulties, please reach out to our support team for assistance. Make sure to attach a screen recording or screenshot of the issue that you are encountering. Please include information as well as the troubleshooting steps that you have done so we can raise it to our developers for investigation.
